EMDR TRAUMA RECOVERY
HEALING THAT REACHES THE ROOT.
Some experiences stay with us - not just in our minds, but in our bodies.
Even when life moves on, something inside can remain stuck in the past - looping, replaying, or reacting as if it’s still happening now.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) is a gentle yet powerful therapy designed to help your brain and body reprocess these stored experiences, so you can finally feel safe, calm, and present again.

It’s not about talking endlessly about what happened.
It’s about helping your system complete what it never got to - allowing healing to unfold naturally.

WHAT EMDR CAN HELP WITH
EMDR can be supportive for anyone who has experienced:

Trauma or PTSD (from single events or ongoing experiences)
Anxiety, panic, or overwhelm
Grief and loss
Phobias or fears
Relationship difficulties
Low self-esteem or negative self-beliefs
Childhood wounds or emotional neglect

It’s suitable for anyone who wants to heal deeply and gently - without having to relive or over explain their past.
HOW EMDR WORKS
When something overwhelming happens, our brain doesn’t always process it properly. The memory can become “stuck,” carrying the same emotional charge long after the event has passed.

During an EMDR session, we use gentle, rhythmic bilateral stimulation (often through eye movements, sound, or tapping) to help both sides of your brain communicate and process the memory in a new way.

As this happens, the emotional intensity begins to soften.
You might still remember what happened, but the emotional charge will no longer have a hold over you.

Healing doesn’t have to feel heavy or clinical. It can be spacious, supportive, and even empowering.
EMDR is one of the most effective ways for people find peace after carrying something for far too long.
You don’t need to have the right words, or know where to start - just a willingness to be here.
